ANKARA -- Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on Wednesday arrived in Ankara, Turkey's capital, to start his first visit to Turkey since the death of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan greeted the crown prince with a grand welcoming ceremony, which was followed by a private meeting between the two leaders.
Turkey is the third stop of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's regional tour, which also brought him to Egypt and Jordan. (Turkey-MBS-Visit)

JERUSALEM -- Israeli lawmakers voted in favor of a bill to dissolve parliament in a preliminary vote on Wednesday, taking the first step in sending the country for its fifth elections in three years.
The vote, the first in a series of four votes before the formal dissolution of the parliament, gained an overwhelming majority of 110 lawmakers in the 120-member parliament.

KUWAIT CITY -- Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah dissolved on Wednesday the parliament of the country, calling for an early general election, according to the official Kuwait TV.
"We have decided, based on our constitutional right complying with the provision of Article 107, to dissolve the parliament and to call for general elections in the coming months, after preparing the necessary legal arrangements for that," he said on behalf of the Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah concerning the latest political developments in Kuwait.
An Amiri decree of the National Assembly dissolution is to be issued in the upcoming few months, he added. (Kuwait-Parliament-Dissolution)

JERUSALEM -- Israel's police said Wednesday that they arrested a Jewish settler on suspicion of involvement in the stabbing and killing of a Palestinian man in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday.
The police said in a statement that they have launched an investigation into the killing of Ali Hassan Harb, 28, who was stabbed to death near the settlement of Ariel.
At the police's request, an Israeli court has issued a gag order on most of the details of the case.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that Harb sustained a fatal stabbing to his heart during a clash with settlers near the village of Iskaka, where the victim lived. (Israel-Settler-Arrest)
