SHARJAH, 25th November, 2022 (WAM) -- Khorfakkan will host a range of festivities, including headline performances from artists Eida Al Menhali and Diana Haddad at the Khorfakkan Amphitheater on 3rd December as part of the UAE 51st National Day celebration.
On this occasion, Rashid Khamis Obaid Al Naqbi, Head of the Khorfakkan Municipal Council, stated, "Our joy in our nation, the UAE, is renewed with the dawn of every new day. But on National Day, it becomes a festival for citizens, residents and visitors alike. Here in Khorfakkan, the entire city welcomes all those who wish to celebrate this lovely national occasion; this melody that runs from Khorfakkan's mountains to its coasts."
Audiences are eagerly anticipating Khorfakkan festivities, especially the concerts that will be held at the Khorfakkan Amphitheater on December 3rd. As the UAE's holidays always brim with kindness, proceeds from these concerts will be entirely given to the Big Heart Foundation, which supports children and disadvantaged families worldwide. This donation will be a zephyr from Khorfakkan to instill joy in people's hearts across the globe.
The Khorfakkan Amphitheater will host celebrations from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday, 26th November, beginning with the national anthem. This will be followed by a national operetta, ahead of poetic and artistic performances. Then, Harbiya and Razif performances will be showcased, as the UAE's people express their treasured heritage.
With Gulf-wide participation that reflects love, unity, shared purpose and a common future, groups from Oman, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait will showcase their national heritage.
"Our brothers from the entire Gulf will also revel in the UAE people's glee in a scene demonstrating the depth of our historical unity. On the 25th of November, there will be a Marine Show on Khorfakkan Beach at 4:00 pm along with other activities from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the same day," Al Naqbi said.
Along with these celebrations, Khorfakkan Beach will be hosting a variety of activities from 1st-3rd December that include cultural dances and performances, kids workshops, traditional food and other activities.
