WASHINGTON -- Former U.S. President Donald Trump suggested on Saturday that he will be arrested next week.
Trump, in a post on Truth Social, wrote that "illegal leaks" from the Manhattan District Attorney's Office indicate that he "will be arrested on Tuesday of next week." (US-Trump-Investigation)

BLANTYRE, Malawi -- More bodies have been recovered in Malawi's southern region hit by Cyclone Freddy, bringing the total death toll to at least 438 as of 09:00 p.m. local time (1900 GMT) Friday, said the country's Department of Disaster Management Affairs.
The death toll rose from Thursday's 326, said the department in its fifth update, adding that approximately 345,183 people (or 79,602 households) have been displaced and 505 camps have been set up to accommodate them. (Malawi-Death Toll)

PUL-E-ALAM, Afghanistan -- Two children were killed and two others injured as a mortar mine left over from past wars went off in Afghanistan's eastern Logar province, the state-run Bakhtar news agency reported on Saturday.
A group of children found a toy-like device in the Altamor area of Pul-e-Alam city, the capital of Logar province, on Friday evening and began playing with it when the device suddenly exploded, killing the two children on the spot and injuring two more, the news agency reported. MAZAR-I-SHARIF, Afghanistan -- Afghan security forces raided hideouts of the Islamic State (IS) terror group in northern Balkh province Friday night, killing several insurgents, chief spokesman of the Afghan caretaker administration Zabihullah Mujahid said Saturday.
The raid was conducted in Police Districts 5, 6 and 8 of Mazar-i-sharif city, the provincial capital of Afghanistan's northern Balkh province, according to the official. (Afghanistan-IS Hideout-Raid)
