Moscow, SANA- The Russian Ministry of Emergencies announced Tuesday that 27 tons of humanitarian aid is on its way to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
"A Russian Il-76 plane took off from Makhachkala Airport heading for Egyptian al-Arish Airport, as 27 tons of humanitarian aid will be delivered to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent, who in turn will provide it to the people in Gaza," Novosti Agency quoted the ministry as saying on its telegram channel.
This new batch of humanitarian aid comes as a continuation of previous batches that Russia announced sending to help the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip through Egyptian territory.
