Mideast in Pictures: Lusail Sky Festival dazzles with aerial spectacle in Qatar

DOHA, April 5 (Xinhua) -- The Lusail Sky Festival, one of the largest aerial events in the region, is currently taking place in Qatar's Lusail City, showcasing a spectacular array of aerial performances and family-friendly entertainment.

Organized by Visit Qatar, the marketing arm of Qatar Tourism, the three-day festival began on Thursday and will conclude on Saturday. Over the first two days, the dazzling sky shows have drawn thousands of visitors.

The program features a diverse lineup of international aerobatic teams, high-speed jet demonstrations, skywriting acts, and professional skydiving shows. A major highlight is an awe-inspiring drone performance involving more than 3,000 illuminated drones and 150 aircraft equipped with pyrotechnics, all choreographed to music and synchronized light effects.
