DUBAI, 9th April 2025 (WAM) -- France is participating in Middle East Energy 2025, one of the region's most prominent platforms for showcasing advancements in the energy sector. Through its "La French Fab" pavilion, France is presenting 21 leading companies specialising in industrial innovation and technology at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Axel Baroux, the French Trade & Invest Commissioner to the UAE and the Regional Director of Business France in the Middle East, told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that bilateral cooperation between France and the UAE has witnessed significant expansion in the fields of energy and sustainability.
He also emphasised that high-level engagements have further deepened this partnership, which began in 2022, especially in clean energy, trade, and green technologies.
Baroux highlighted the landmark agreement between the UAE's Masdar and France's TotalEnergies, which aims to accelerate clean energy projects in Southeast Asia and Africa. This collaboration, he said, reflects the shared vision of both countries to drive the global transition toward sustainable energy.
During the exhibition, French companies are presenting a range of cutting-edge solutions tailored to the energy challenges of the Gulf region, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and environmental performance.
The pavilion also features other prominent industrial players.
Jean Christophe Paris, Consul General of the French Republic in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, praised the high quality and relevance of the French technologies on display during the pavilion's official opening.
He expressed pride in the French companies' commitment to delivering innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions aligned with the UAE market's evolving needs.
Organised by Business France, this participation reflects a shared commitment to building a sustainable energy future, while also opening new doors for collaboration between France and the Gulf region. It comes at a time when strategic ties between Paris and Abu Dhabi continue to strengthen across various sectors.
