Derrick Henry rushed for two touchdowns to move into fifth place on the all-time list and the Baltimore Ravens snapped a four-game slide with a 30-16 victory over the visiting Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon.
Tyler Huntley completed 17 of 22 passes for 186 yards and one touchdown and added 53 rushing yards in his first start of the season for the Ravens (2-5). Huntley started in place of Lamar Jackson (hamstring), who missed his third straight game.
Henry rushed for 71 yards on 21 carries while raising his career rushing touchdowns count to 112. He had been tied with Hall of Famer Walter Payton, a Bears legend.
Charlie Kolar caught a touchdown pass, Nate Wiggins recorded a big interception and Tyler Loop kicked three field goals for the Ravens. Roquan Smith had 12 tackles in his first game against his former club.
Caleb Williams completed 25 of 38 passes for 285 yards and one interception for Chicago (4-3), which had a four-game winning streak snapped. D'Andre Swift rushed for a touchdown, Rome Odunze had seven receptions for 114 yards and Cairo Santos made three field goals for the Bears.
The Bears moved within 16-13 when Swift scored from the 2-yard line with 12:22 left in the game.
However, Williams made a big mistake in the fourth quarter as Wiggins picked him off at the Chicago 18 and returned it to the 9. Two plays later, Huntley hit Kolar on a 10-yard scoring pass to give Baltimore a 23-13 lead with 8:13 remaining.
Santos kicked a 47-yard field goal to bring the Bears within seven at the 5:06 mark.
Henry put the game away when he was stuffed in the middle of the line and bounced the play outside to the right for a 2-yard scoring run. Rushing touchdown No. 112 gave Baltimore a 30-16 lead with 2:09 to play.
Chicago dominated the first quarter by possessing the ball for 12:41 and having big advantages in total offense (125-8) and first downs (9-0). But the Bears only managed field goals of 32 and 39 yards from Santos.
Baltimore awoke in the second quarter and took a 7-6 lead on Henry's 2-yard scoring run to pass Payton with 8:15 left in the half. Loop added a 42-yard field goal with 1:06 remaining and the Ravens held a 10-6 halftime lead.
Loop tacked on field goals on 28 and 32 yards in the third quarter as Baltimore's lead reached 16-6.
